Innovative Office Solutions will stand behind all of our Ricoh equipment and support our customers with a hassle-free, Repair or Replacement Guarantee. If your Ricoh equipment is not performing within the machine’s designed specifications and cannot be repaired by Innovative Office Solutions, we will replace your Ricoh equipment with an equivalent machine, FREE.
This 3 Years Repair or Replacement Guarantee begins at the date of installation and the equipment must be maintained continuously by Innovative Office Solutions, with all parts and supplies being furnished solely by Innovative Office Solutions. Any failure of the equipment to perform due to damages caused by an accident or misuse, including improper voltage will void this guarantee.
Also, each machine must not exceed the monthly recommended volume as stated by Innovative Office Solutions. Additionally, any service performed by another vendor other than Innovative Office Solutions will void this agreement. We look forward to a long-term business relationship. Once we are selected as your new copier vendor, we will take all the concerns and worries of maintaining the copier out of your hands and into ours. Law Firms
Soft cost recovery is alive and well. Although a small number of firms have abandoned the practice, the overwhelming number of firms continue to maintain it and some are ven expanding their billable revenue to encompass the capture of print, scan, and digital service.
Based upon the shift in outputt from copies to prints,, and the decrease in facsimile coupled with the explosion of scans, a firm is being forced to shift from teh copy/fax cost-recovery model to a print/scan capture model. Failure to do so will mean declining cost-recovery revenue. The decrease in copy volume, which is the foundation of many firm’s cost-recovery structure, is slowly disappearing, with the increase in print output replacing copy volume. We estimate that once a firm networks it’s multifunctional devices, that firm will lose 30 percent of it copy volume to print. In summary, the support services which were built on the copy/fax model will no longer produce the volume necessary to support themselves. This issue, coupled with clients’ increasing reluctance to pay for the interal cost recovery charges, will lead to a rise in overhead burden for most firms.
Color output, both copy, and print, will become more and more a part of a firm’s cost-recovery strategy. Many firms in the past have not billed seperately for color, even though it is more expensive to produce. It is advisable to clearly define costs and establish seprate billing codes for both color print and color output. Also keep watch on color scanning, this will be the next big cost-recivery item.

IOS has several different solutions to accomplish many objectives. IOS On-Account allows the ability to provide users with a “free print balance”; used before a print charge will apply. This is great for Colleges and Universities who would like to give students a set number of prints per semester.
On-Account is also perfect for libraries who aim to tie all patron resources together. This means printing and copying is a direct function of their library card. Patrons add a balance to their library account and use it for printing and copying. This is great for libraries with many branches as the account will follow the patron throughout the library system.
On-Account is also great for offices who wish to track and account for printing and copying within their organization. This system gives you the option of tracking by departments, employee, groups or any other parameter set by you. It is great if you wish to charge one department for printing, but not another. Or, if you would like to report on usages within the office.
Coin-op / Copy Card systems are easy to use, functional, self-serve and require little maintenance. Great systems for smaller libraries, computer labs, offices, Internet Cafes, County Clerks and Hotel Business Suites.
